We are now offering Maple Syrup Season farm tours at the Parsons Farm.
$15 per person, kids 12 and under are free.
Every Friday morning 10-11 am from March 29 – April 26.
Tours will be at Parsons Farm, located about 9 miles south of downtown Charlevoix.
61 Parsons Road, Charlevoix, MI 49720 (view map)
– A tour of our maple syrup making facility on the farm, with in-depth information about the whole process. Hopefully the sap will be flowing and the syrup will be boiling, so you can see and experience the maple syrup making process. (We cannot guarantee this, since it is weather dependent.)
– A walk to and through the “sugarbush” (the maple trees where we collect sap). In the woods, you’ll learn about how we tap the trees, and hopefully see the sap flowing through the lines. This part of the tour is weather dependent, and will require a bit of walking. Please come prepared to walk through snow and/or mud. You are also welcome to skip this part of the tour if you wish.
If you cannot come on any of the dates offered, choose ‘Private Tour’ in the Date options. We will do private tours for parties of 2 people or more. After you purchase your tickets, we will contact you to arrange a date and time.
If you need to cancel, you must cancel 24 hours prior to your scheduled tour. We will refund your ticket purchase, minus a $2 processing fee per ticket.
If you do not cancel and do not attend the tour, we will not issue a refund.
UPCOMING SUMMER TOURS
We will be adding summer tour dates soon. If you can’t make it during the syrup season tours, we hope to see you this summer!
