We age our pure maple syrup in bourbon barrels sourced from Northern Michigan’s Grand Traverse Distillery, and the transformation is nothing short of magical. These barrels boast the highest char level (#4), which means the interior wood is deeply toasted, unlocking layers of smoky sweetness, vanilla, and caramelized oak. As the syrup rests inside, it absorbs these complex flavors, emerging with a gorgeous deep color and a distinct smoked-toffee character you won’t find anywhere else.
